Intensive conservation treatment
A3 Collection Services does not offer intensive conservation treatments. We do not have a secure laboratory to safely conduct these treatments. We are a mobile service so we will use your space to improve the stability of your collection.
What do we do?
A3 can offer simple treatments to paper and photographic materials such as surface cleaning prior to exhibition, flattening creases and folds, repairing small tears and hinging for framing.
Archival quality packaging
Good storage enclosures are an early step in stabilizing your collection. Torn brown paper wrappings don't offer sufficient support or protection for your collection items. A3 will help you identify poor storage enclosures like PVC sleeves or acidic cardboard, and offer for suggestions for affordable improvements.
